In our second week of epic FIFA matches we had the Norwegian group played out. The group favorite, Fredrik “fredrikreinholt” Reinholt, managed to live up to the expectations and come out on top of the group.
– Finishing first in the group feels awesome! It gives me a lot of confidence going on forward towards the knockout-stages, he tells us after the games.
– To be completely honest I kind of saw this coming because I am the better player statistically. And therefore it feels great to prove it on the field as well!
His toughest opponent in the group proved to be Christoffer “Chriskeem” Lie. The 31-year old put up a good fight in the final match of the day, but fredrikreinholt ended up winning the two games with a total score of 9-4.
– It was two tight games where I could not finish my chances. Therefore I think the result says it was closer than it actually should have been if I had started more composed.
What are you expectations going into the playoffs?
– I absolutely think I have what it takes to go all the way! Self-confidence is a key asset to becoming a great FIFA-player. I think the players from Finland or Denmark will be the toughest ones to face in the end, so there is nothing else to do than reach the finals to prove that Norway is the greatest country in the North!
Do you have anything you want to say to your supporters?
– To everyone that supports me I will say thanks a lot, and I will see you in the grand final!
Next week it is finally time for the Danish streamers to battle it out on the virtual green fields. The group is scheduled for May 27th and you watch the games through the participant’s point-of-view on their personal Twitch channels. Every participant will stream all of their games in their entirety and you will find links to every participant’s Twitch channels here.
